Agriculture and development.
Agriculture is the backbone of most African countries’s economies and social wellfare. This means it is a stong engine to development.
For a long time i knew and learned from school that the only way to development in Africa was to shift Agriculture from small scale to commercialized Agriculture. You and i know were this gospel was coming from…The western world.
Things are now changing because commercialisation meant supporting industrialization which on its own is creating negaive impacts to the farmers such as Climate change, food insecurity and all that…So where do we stand now? Shift from commercialization and support small scale agriculture.
When will Africa then develop?does it mean suddenly that Commercialization is not the answer?
Well am just in wonder as the rest of the people who have known about this.
Any on with some answerr?I surely need some..
